Weekends in San Francisco are slow.
Traffic sits quietly. The weather sits still. Passerby’s walk a little less forcefully up and down the hills near Fisherman’s Wharf. By consensus, the city agrees that weekends are meant to be savored.
You can wake when the sun rises. Slowly lace your shoes and kick gravel toward the nearest coffee shop. Stop at a nearby park bench, sip and blow gently as nearby dogs wander past. There are things to do and people to see, but not quite yet. There’s no rush. The world’s got nowhere to be.
